Kyoto International Manga Museum which was established by Kyoto city and Kyoto Seika University is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. With your support the museum had around 2.6 million visitors in this decade. To commemorating this anniversary we are holding an exhibition “Yoro Takeshi & Miyazaki Hayao Duo Exhibition”. This exhibition will approach their private hobby by focusing on Yoro Takeshi’s “insects” and Miyazaki Hayao’s “fantasy” to introduce you to their “another world”.

Yoro Takeshi’s hobby room: his weevil collection (around 10 boxes) and messages from his fellow members. Miyazaki Hayao’s hobby room: selected 20 reproduction of original works from “Miyazaki Hayao no Zasso note” (Dainipponkaiga) which was published more than 20 years ago and “The Haunted Tower (Boku no Yureito)” which was specially made for an exhibition at Ghibli museum in Mitaka, Tokyo last year.
