Charity talk show and autograph session

Kurata Yoshimi x Tsuchiyama Shigeru x Big Joe -- The world of culinary manga

Kyoto International Manga Museum is organizing the following events to benefit the victims of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011: A charity talkshow about culinary manga, and autograph session with manga artists Kurata Yoshimi, Tsuchiyama Shigeru, and Big Joe.

After the disaster, when people started revaluating the importance of every day things we take for granted , like clothes, housing, and food, the genre of culinary manga is being focused on again, and these three prominent culinary manga artists will talk mainly about the genre's range and depth, and about their own works. Please join us!

Fee	Part 1, Talkshow + Authograph session: 500 yen Part 2, Authograph session: 500 yen or more (as much as you like) *Above fee will go to the victims of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. *For both the 1st and 2nd part, a General Admission ticket to the Museum is required.
Participation	Part 1: Talkshow + Authograph session Please register in advance (capacity: 200 seats) By fax (075-254-7424), or via our homepage form, please submit your name, the amount of people in your party, a phone number where you can be reached or your email address. If capacity is not reached after registration, we will distribute tickets for the left-over seats on the day of the event.

Part 1: Talkshow and authograph session (only for participants in the talkshow)

Part 1: Talkshow and authograph session (only for participants in the talkshow) The three most prominent authors in the culinary manga genre, Kurata Yoshimi, Tsuchiyama Shigeru, and Big Joe, will talk about the range and depth of the genre, and about their own works.

*We will provide a paper for authograph.

*Please note that after the talkshow, you can line up for one autograph from one artist. If you would like to get the other two artists's autographs, please join the event Part 2.

This event is held in Japanese only. No English interpretation will be available.

Part 2: Autograph session (for visitors to the museum)

In the open space in the entrance hall, we are organizing an autograph session for visitors who did not come to the talkshow. Anyone can join.

Please bring something for the authors to sign yourself.
