Kyoto International Manga Museum

To preserve manga / comics culture systematically and make them available for academic research, we are seeking the donation of manga / comics materials. We sincerely ask your kind cooperation.

Manga / Comics materials wanted

• Comic books, comic magazines, comic information magazines and animation information magazines published abroad.

* Please note that we may refuse donation in the following cases:

When the donated item is in bad condition
When the donated item is already held in multiple copies and cannot be used effectively

About donated materials

• The Museum reserves the right to decide how to use donated materials.
• Please note that items already in the Museum's collection may be donated or transferred to other facilities in Japan or abroad.

Please send your name, address, telephone number and a brief description of the item(s) to be donated using the Donation Form. We will reply shortly thereafter.

Additional note

• Please do not bring items for donation to the Museum unannounced.
